So many bugs

First, it doesnt always capture your information; you can log a dive, and it doesnt show up - there is no "Save" function when you log the dive, then if you go back to check, your recently logged dive is not there. So, you log it again in hopes that it works, then if by chance it does work, you end up with the same dive logged twice; but there is no EDIT function on the app. If you view your logged dives, for tank info, it shows your tank 1 type, but tank 2 beginning/ending pressure (odd since you didnt enter it), and not many dive with two tanks at once (I dont dive with a double rig). Overall, this seems to have been designed by a freshman app designer. PADI sometimes makes odd decisions...

Poor Access

The dive log app looked good but I was not ever able to actually get in because you have to log in with your PADI number. When I entered mine from my PADI card the authentication told me it was not valid. So it may be a great app I just dont know how you get to use it

Buggy, very poor user-interface

Both the ScubaEarth mobile app and the actual website at ScubaEarth.com are pretty terrible. Buggy, very very slow. The actual user-interface is very badly laid-out, very user-unfriendly. The user details between the app and the actual website dont match and sync-up...so although I set my format as Imperial measurements in the website it comes up as Metric on the app...and it wont let me change it. When logging dives you cant number them yourself. You have to go through multiple steps to enter simple things when logging dives....its all just very labour intensive and user-unfriendly. Add the actual slowness and unfortunately it is a pretty useless app. Also, for some reason the app always shows my logged dives as happening at 3AM and there is no way to change that. There is also no ability to edit or make corrections on logged dives once the entry is saved. All in all this is a very poorly designed app...the designer(s) should be fired for incompetence!

Not Working without Internet!

First: The App doesnt even remain open while not connected to internet So how about even Logging a Dive! There is no way and it suddenly gets closed. Second: adding the exact location on the maps and looking for it doesnt have to be the first thing first to add to Log A Dive cause Diving is about travelling and being overseas so not everyone is connected to Internet while travelling. PADI, adding a log first, synching the true data second. Right?! Fix these two then you are good PADI. Cheers. Deleted the app cause of these two.

Good idea but does not work

Good idea but it is unusable. The web version is too slow and even by refreshing you cannot perform any action. The app does not allow to add buddies and import registered dives. Not useful and apparently not updated.

Good but Update iOS9 please!

Good app to store and share dive logs, but we are in 2015, please update with iOS9..

Great app

This app takes the functionality of the website and puts it in an easy to use mobile interface. It makes looking up dive shops and sites easy and connecting with others simple.

Bugs

Really excited about the app, but it has several bugs. The dive buddies doesnt show. If you search for someone, the information in it is old, i.e. A friend of mine is an IDC Staff, and it shows as MSDT. None of the certificates show. I cant find the pictures posted by my buddies. Also the information about the stores is very basic. Just name, address and telephone. Nothing else. I hope that these bugs get fix quick. I know it will turn out to be a great app and an updated rate should happen.

Needs A LOT OF WORK

Great idea...especially for PADI divers and PADI Pros. BUT it does not allow you to add dive sites not on the list or geo locations. WHATS THE USE?!!!

USELESS-sites are all wrong

Shows dive sites everywhere (including where there is NO dive site), the names are just peoples names, theres no info in the details section. Utterly useless.

Its okay

Does as advertised but its a bit rough and in need of some serious bug squashing and ux enhancing updates.

Cant open at all

Download it and cant even open it.... Ipad 7.0.3.

Crap

I cant even open this app

Well designed but content missing

I am so glad PADI has released this app for iPhone and iPad, it seems like a great way to connect with the scuba community and keep track in a log book. The design seems fairly updated and easy to use and the features are nice. However every time I attempt to click on a dive site on the map or a dive shop, no information appears. I am not sure what the issue is but I have tried on my iPhone 5 and iPad Air and had no success. While the app seems great it is of no useful if the information is seeks to provide does not work. I hope this is a simple fix and look forward to using it in the future.

Cant even log in.

Cant even get in it to rate it.

bad!!!

needs lots of fix. can not log dives, you type in all the info in the app and save ir just to realice you have to do it again in uour computer because is not saving. also if you want to add what you saw their library of options is very small almost null. It does not have rays!!!! not all the dive sites appear. great idea but needs work. hope tje fix ir soon since this is better than carrying your log book.

Crashes a lot

Trying to log dives, if you enter anything other than location, depth, temp, visibility and down time, it crashes.

Really hoped the bugs were gone

I had hoped to use this post dive, but soon as Im almost done it crashes. I really hope the bugs get worked out.

Crash

App crashes on iPhone 6 iOS 8 whenever I try to add a buddy. To bad seems like a great app if they would fix this issue.

App crashes every time I try to add a dive buddy

Have been logging my dives... Great to have all five info right at your phone... Needs to fix bug of app crashing when user try to add dive buddy... And OBVIOUSLY needs to have an export functionality that you can transfer dives logged to another user, and automatically adds the dive to another users profile when someone add him as a dive buddy. Still lots of room to improve....
